Comment Ca va?

Back at the PC Office briefly so I thought I would update the blog.  Today went on a walking tour of the city of Cotonou.  Went through the market, down to the beach and went to the most expensive store in the city for tissue.  Tissue is basically the clothe that is used to make the clothing here.  This place was selling tissue for 35000 CFA on average...so I saw tissue ranging from $100 - $300 a yard.  But this type of cost is RARE here.  Yesterday I bought a pineapple (freshest pineapple EVER) from a lady who was balancing about 25 of them on her head on a plate and it cost about 25 cents and she even cut it up for you.  Also had a small bag of these pastry like donuts for about 8 cents.  But yeah, it's not bad.  Tomorrow is the day we leave St. Jean's and go to Porto Novo to meet our host families. I'm excited.  But as for now, I've got to make this update a brief one because there is a line of 7 other volunteers behind me wanting to check their emails.  I'll haev more time later this month hopefully.  Salut!
