Moving Forward...

So through some clever networking I was able to get in touch with a woman who has some significant amount of experience at wdw and who works quite high up in the ranks apparently. So with some help from her my name and resume are now floating around internally at wdw (Walt Disney World) as well as within the wdw cruise line. Now I sit back and wait.

So through some clever networking I was able to get in touch with an old friend who has worked at a youth camp in France and seems like he has made a good impression and connection with that particular company. So with some help from him (thank you my friend) I hope to potentially pursue this option. I will be mailing off my application packet this week since my criminal history check finally came back a couple days ago from the State (clean, of course!). Now I sit back and wait.

So, what exactly are some of my rough draft plans/goals with either of these positions? Well, if I go to wdw then I will work my way towards management and try my best to get into their Health sector. Or if I go thru the wdw cruise line: sail around working massive amounts of hours while gaining some unimaginable experiences working aboard in one of the positions I am applying for. This would be a ~6 month contract at a time position. We shall see.

If I go to France then I will work for a youth camp doing great things for French students as well as brushing up on my French language & cultural education. This is a ~3 or ~4 month contract and paid, so after the contract ends I would then continue and backpack Europe for as long as my finances allow...I'm guessing around 3 months.

Either one of these options sound like a great adventure to me. If both are offered to me then it will be an extremely difficult decision as to which one I should pick. But, as I said above, for now I sit back and wait.
