Doctor visit & Jail time...

So I received a phone call this morning letting me know I have a Doctors appointment this week to get my physical done for the DCL. So close to being done with the hiring process! As far as I know, it's the last step! I just wish I had my official date of departure, then I feel like it would be official. It really hasn't hit me yet that I will be leaving soon to go live on a cruise ship in the Bahamas/Carribean. I mean, I talk about it a lot and I think about it a lot, but I don't FEEL like I am REALLY doing it. At random times I do, but it's not consistant. I think that as soon as I get my official date then it will hit me. Or maybe it won't hit me until I am stepping on the plane. Which reminds me, when I do leave I will be leaving snow & ice here in Central Oregon and an 8 hour flight later arrive in sunny Florida. Awesome!

So I am not going to go into much detail about the other topic of this post - "Jail Time." But in brief, almost 6 months ago I was jumped by two people and sent to the Emergency Room - and yes, literally jumped without any type of warning. Well, finally the two people who did this are in Jail. They also have an 18 month probation where they aren't allowed to drink. They have also had to pay for my restitution and other court fee's and fines. What's interesting is that the Benton County Jail puts their inmate roster online with a picture (i.e. mug shot) of all their inmates. Just do a google search for Benton County Oregon, go to their site, then browse to the Sheriff's department and the Correctional Facility then Inmate Roster. It's public information. I will post a link soon, the computer I am on is too slow to try and open up another browser window. It does feel like a huge weight has lifted off my shoulder though with this all being done and over with. But now I'm signing off. Cheers.
